Overview

Screen & Web Typography is a brief educational digital publication that explores the development of typography for use on the screen and web. The target market for Screen and Web Typography consists primarily of males and female who are college students studying in a design-related field.

Originally designed as a paper booklet, I reworked the concept as a digital publication to better fit the subject matter and to allow for interactivity to assist readers in learning and understanding the various concepts presented.

The publication gives a brief overview of ten areas relating to the development of typography for the screen and web. Each section was given its own unique icon to guide readers through the publication.

Each section has a short explanation of the topic, as well as an example for readers to better visualize and understand the topic. Here, the concept of anti-aliasing is being shown. Readers can turn anti-aliasing on and off to see the differences.
